Predictive dialers are hardware and software for high-volume outbound calling. Long a mainstay in outbound call centers, predictive dialers have become more common as call centers conduct both inbound and outbound (i. e. , "blended") calling. Intelligent Autodialers accept lists of telephone numbers and contact information from host computers and servers, and launch multiple simultaneous calls based on the agents available and projections of call completion rates.
